The Helix Performing Arts Department offers a comprehensive breadth of study. The faculty is dedicated to creating safe, equitable spaces for all students to develop their voice through creativity, discipline, & self-expression within the arts.
Helix Performing Arts is located in the heart of La Mesa, CA. Our programming follows California Visual and Performing Arts Standards and all of our programs are highly accredited.
- Comprehensive education in each performing arts discipline
- Courses satisfy A-G requirements, specifically the F (Visual/Performing Arts) requirement for UC/CSU admissions
- Each discipline has a pathway for 3-4 years of study culminating in Advanced and Ensemble classes
- Performance opportunities in many of the courses offered.
